Abstract

|
The objective of research was to get the informations in secondary flowering cultivation of ¢¥Baegkwang¢¥ chrysanthemums (Dendranthema¡¿grandiflorum) for off-season production. The chrysanthemum crops in the secondary flowering block had increased plant growth and flowering rate, but decreased occurrence of physiological disorder compared to those of replanting block. The crops in replanting block required 5 or 6 days as less as than those in the secondary flowering block for days required to flower. As application rate of GA©ý increased, plant height and length of flowering stalk increased. This also resulted in good crop growth and flowering. The treatments with high application rate of GA©ý had increased occurrence of physiological disorders such as atrophy and open center increased high. However, quality of cut flower and marketable yield in GA©ý treatments were significantly higher than those of control.
